Google Maps Search Results Look Different

There have been changes at Google. Google is making changes to the map listings. What was called Google Local is now known as Google Places, and Google Places has made some changes as of October 27th 2010.

You will now see the Organically ranked SERP listings combined with the Google Places map listing as well. You will see a little from the website itself and some information from the Google Places listing also.

This is information every local business should know about.. new changes to the Google Places ( map) listings.

Here is another tip for search engine optimization for your own website. Put your keywords in your description meta tag. It helps!
I am also working on websites that are easy to update youself. Why pay a web designer for simple picture additions or text changes? Of course if you want me to do it, I'm happy to. Remember simple changes are free with SEO.

Wow. I'm terrible about keeping up the bogging. My own rankings have fallen, because I haven't been working on my own site. I'm busy keeping my clients happy and on page one of Google. I am also working on learning new web design skills. There is so much to know, and one person can't know it all, but I love doing as much as I can. It's fun stuff. I am writing this blog to help get http://www.optimonster.com/ back on page one. It's so weird that there are so many searches for Michigan SEO consultants, check out some of the great rankings by clicking on the previous "Michigan SEO Consultants" link, it goes to the SEO results page.

Update. Optimonster is on the first two pages for all the keywords that I optimized. It does move around more because all the sites on SEO do SEO. Keeps us on our toes. I'll keep working toward #1 on all my keywords.

Myroyaloak.com- finally on the first pages of Google. - even #1 for "downtown Royal Oak homes for sale" We've been number one on Yahoo for years.

Optimonster.com is moving up on the rankings also. On page one of Google after only 5 weeks for "michigan seo business" Number two rankings hubpage by Zestylemon is Optimonster's also.

More updates later. I'm going to go help my sister-in-law remove wallpaper.

Optimonster.com is moving up in the Google rankings. The Yahoo bots really haven't even visited the site much. It takes a little time, although I'm anxious.
there are lots of SEO tools on Optimonster. Check them out and check back to follow my rankings.

I started doing SEO for my own websites. Then friends websites and now I do it professionally. I love optimizing websites and getting more website traffic. I love seeing my optimized websites sitting at #1 on Google. I work constantly to get the sites ranked as high as I can. Some elude me, no one is perfect, but for the most parts I get awesome rankings.

I just finished my own SEO website and it is on page two of Google already on two of my keyword phrases. It's only been less than 2 weeks. I guarantee that businesses will be happy with the results in 60 days or they can walk away. I don't know of any SEO firm that will do that, or at my prices. check it out - SEO firm
